At Bushy Park Activity Camp, we deliver a dynamic holiday programme that blends high-energy sports with creative arts and crafts, giving children a fresh and engaging experience throughout the day. Each hour offers a new choice of activity, allowing children to move freely between structured sports sessions and imaginative creative projects, ensuring there is always something to suit every interest and energy level. From football, dodgeball, and team challenges to bracelet making, painting, and craft workshops, every session is designed to be fun, accessible, and inclusive.
 

Our flexible, choice-led approach encourages children to explore new activities, develop skills, and gain confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment. With a strong focus on enjoyment, participation, and positive social interaction, children are able to make friends, stay active, and express their creativity in equal measure. Led by a friendly and experienced team, Bushy Park Activity Camp provides a safe, well-structured setting where every child can shape their own day and enjoy a truly varied holiday experience.

A rotating hourly programme of exciting sports and arts & crafts, including football, dodgeball, team challenges, painting, making, and more—so every child can choose what they love throughout the day.

  • Our camp is designed for children aged 5 to 12 and offers a unique combination of sports and arts and crafts.  We are all teachers or coaches who work at schools within the Richmond Borough.

  • Yes, advance booking is recommended as spaces are limited and sessions can fill quickly, especially during peak holiday periods such as Summer and Easter.

  • Children should bring a packed lunch (no nuts), water bottle, comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for sports and outdoor activities.

  • All sessions are fully supervised, staff are DBS-checked, and robust safeguarding procedures are followed to ensure a safe, secure environment.

  • Yes, children choose between sports and arts & crafts every hour, allowing them to build their own fun, varied day.

  • We have contingency plans in place, with indoor or covered activities to ensure the fun continues whatever the weather.

  • Bookings are made online via our Pebble booking system, with simple steps to secure your child’s place quickly and easily. Childcare vouchers are also accepted.

  • Yes, we accept childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare payments, , making it easy for parents to use funded childcare options. If you cannot book on through your childcare provider, please do email us and we shall look into it.

I honestly can't fault this camp! My 10 and 7 year old daughters absolutely love it. I have one daughter who is very sporty and the other who loves her crafts, and this camp ticks both boxes incredibly well. Also, the team there have always been fantastic - so welcoming, fun and passionate about ensuring the children are always having a brilliant time.

My  son came out of his first day with Bushy Park activity camp fizzing and insisting we book him into more days! we did as he had clearly had a great time, and noticably he was greeted by name on arrival each day after by several staff. they do a good long day so you can almost get that working day in, and the full range of activities from sports of many types through to crafts and restful activities programmed through the day makes for a great experience and great value for money, and in a lovely open space as well.

we started with one day booked and have now done 5, so that is a vote of confidence and demonstrates their flexibility as well.

My two children attended Bushy Park Activity Camp during half term in February, and again during the Easter holidays, and absolutely loved it. They were excited to arrive at the camp at every single drop off, and when we picked them up at the end of each day, they were in good spirits and couldn't wait to tell us about the fun they'd had. I love that the camp offers a wide range of activities, including activities to release energy (e.g. games and sports), as well as engaging arts and crafts sessions (my boys loved arriving home and showing us the things they made). The staff are all friendly, professional and passionate about spending time with children, and I felt really reassured that the camp is run by brilliant teachers who teach at Collis Primary. The camp provides a safe and caring environment, and I feel happy during the day knowing they're at a lovely camp, being looked after and having lots of fun
